Dochu Licensing Agreement

Regarding Dochu Treatment
Dochu is a minimally invasive vascular embolization technique developed by Dr. Yuji Okuno. The treatment can be applied to a wide range of conditions, including hand and wrist disorders such as Heberden's nodules, TFCC injury, CM arthritis, shoulder pain, chronic headaches such as migraine, and lower extremity conditions such as plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinopathy.
It is based on the selective targeting of abnormal microvasculature that has been reported in association with certain chronic pain conditions. The procedure is performed under ultrasound guidance, allowing physicians to visualize the affected area in real time and selectively deliver embolic material to the pathological blood vessels supplying the lesion.
It is typically performed in a short time frame and, in many cases, may be conducted on an outpatient basis.
This approach ensures accurate targeting while minimizing invasiveness.
Licensing Agreement with Dr. Okuno
Under delegation from Dr. Okuno at Okuno Clinic., Alivio JAPAN provides licensing agreements and educational support to medical institutions that are interested in implementing procedures based on the Dochu concept.
Dochu treatment is an injection-based technique in which a small amount of therapeutic or embolic material is selectively administered into arteries feeding the affected tissue.
By reducing abnormal blood flow and associated inflammation, this treatment aims to achieve effective pain relief with a short procedure time and rapid recovery.
If you are interested in the agreement, please consult with us via inquiry form.
In addition, through our workshops, participating physicians have the opportunity to observe live clinical cases of Dochu, intra-arterial injection therapy, gaining practical insight into patient selection, ultrasound-guided techniques, and procedural workflow.
